John Hare (Director, Holmes Consulting) described his experiences and observations from the September and February Canterbury earthquakes. Initial observations made during the search and rescue and structural evaluations were presented to a keen audience less than a month after the devastating aftershock on Feb 22. This event was held in conjunction with the SESOC AGM.
